Edgy hotspots in Berlin

Berlin is so fucking cool.

Compared with much of Western Europe it’s pretty cheap – especially in terms of getting around and nights out. There’s also every sort of cuisine, the most laid-back locals and a general atmosphere that nails being trendy yet not try-hard. An enviable feat.

On a recent (ish) trip there, my friend and I spent a day at a Street Art Workshop. 100% worth the money, it guided us informatively around Berlin’s graffiti hot-spots before letting us try out stenciling for ourselves in a warehouse out east.

My conclusion: if it’s edge you’re looking for, head straight on down to Kreuzberg.

And enjoy these photos, some of which were taken there…
